This is a breakdown of my girl's meals at 15 month
breakfast & lunch baked potato, porridge/pasta/bee hoon (mixed w veg + meat/fish),
dinner rice + veg + meat/fish
(portion about 3/4 Chinese bowl)
milk 3-4x total 600-700ml (I was advised to reduce milk intake)
tea biscuits, bread or fruit
Basically her food resembles adult food, except that it's cooked without salt or seasoning. Meat is shredded into thin slivers (0.5 cm) and veg is chopped up.
I think you can introduce a bigger piece of meat or fruit & let your child explore the texture.
Yes, she started with half a bowl of rice for dinner at around 12 month cos she gets hungry at night.
