Hi, I gave my son these following for bf:

3) french toast
4) mash potato with cream cheese
5) banana & avocado
6) banana with cream cheese
7) banana with yoghurt
8) oats (add in milk & fruits or raisin)
sometimes we will bring him out for bf over weekends, and he will have soup noodle, chee cheong fan (without the sauce), Bao, porridge, for BF.
Hope this helps...
thanks mummies. today she woke up earlier than usual and i dont know what to make for her breakfast.. so end up i made some udon(i always make udon for her lunch instead).. then due to waking up early, she went to nap at 12noon n wake up only at 230pm so i didnt make lunch for her.. gave her a bit of my lunch, some baby biskuits and some cakes.. somehow i feel its so hard to give her 3 meals a day.. its either she wake up late n skip breakfast or she wake up early but nap at lunch time... hai~
do you all give 3 meals a day everyday?
STmummy, thanks for all the great suggestion but too bad my girl is picky.. she wont take any of your 10 suggestions..except biskuits but arent biskuits snacks?
i think macaroni is a good choice =)
you can still give her lunch at 230 but maybe a lighter one, OR lesser snacks so she still have appetite for dinner?
or maybe you wake her up if she is late? but serve meals at the same time even if she wakes early?
for pin, yeah she eats at least 3 times a day.mon-fri she goes to sch, so her meals r quite routined timing.
weekends, she just eat when we do, if she is hungry she will ask for milk.
TING i dont set a time for my girl's meals nowadays. she didnt nap long and usually wont even nap long so i dont wake her up from her naps. the reason y i didnt cook her lunch was because i think by the time i finish cooking will be 3pm and sometimes she takes 2.5hrs for 1 meal so i cannot afford to feed her till 5.30pm! if so then dinner how? she sleeps at 9pm... so i jsut gave her some of my rice (she only took a few mouth) and then i top up with one packet of baby biskuits n some cakes... tats all she took for lunch today.. then i gave her dinner early today around 6pm and she clears her bowl PLUS some of my rice.. hee. i not only have to consider the time i cook, i need to consider the time to feed her too tats y i didnt cook her lunch today...
i wish to increase as well but then she dont want! lol. she takes only few grains of rice per mouth .. on good days she can finish her food in 15mins or anyway inside 30mins but its like maybe 2-3 times a month? nowadays its better.. she takes 1hr or 1.5hrs to finish her food...
yah at first i went crazy as well lol. cos she used to clear her bowl chop chop like pin too. then all of a sudden she started this stun. i was angry everytime i feed her but well.. i got used to it now lol. as long as she dont throw tantrums during meals im happy cos eventually i just want her to eat her food.. so as long as she eats well, i dont mind how many hours i feed her now lol

yah! same case...
My baby only wants to eat lumpy stuff now. Can't get any fruit, puree & cereal into her mouth anymore. she pui out.
We have to feed her chopped steamed pear with white rice
She's still fine with lumpy porridge but some veg have to be chopped or blended coarsely. course, ingredients are switched on alternate days.
Right now, she still takes small portions - 2 porridge meals, 1 meal of rice or rice pasta.
BTW wanted to post but lost thread... I bought some organic bread/pita from Cold Storage. Christine seems to like that. Cos some mummies say those Gardenia bread has many many chemicals & preservatives.
it gets frustrating in the beginning, but i think as long as they eat, we also just do whatever it takes.
but i think my pin is a glutton, so she will never reject food.
if it tastes yummy, wah, she super fast, not eat, is gobble!!!
btu at home she eats more "ingredients" rather than the rice. in sch, its all mixed in, so she bo bian, but at home, she just keep eating the meat n veggie, rice, she ksiao dont eat.!!
Hi Annie, may I know since Jumpy is how many months old you start give her cornflake?
My girl is 11 months+ now and I give her the Nestle cheerious and she still will chuck.
I can only give her the gerber star puff for snack...
