Been feeding my baby semi-solid food since he was 6 months..all along no big problem but recently throw up quite a lot. Today even threw up 3 times (which means all 3 meals). So worried. Want to bring him to see pediatrician but mother in law said when she feeds no such problem. I feed slower and lesser amount than she does. Why is this happening? Any moms can share?
Yes i thought of that. Before when he was 3 or 4 months he also had same problem which he threw up milk quite a lot .. brought him to some PDs ..some said reflux and took medicine..but some said normal not reflux...the thing is if i bring baby to pediatrician again he will need to go through X-ray and all that again. No good for baby keep being x-rayed. And mother in law thinks it is the way i feed, coz when she does this thing never happens. Sigh. What is the correct way of feeding your baby? what are the things to be careful?

FYI, i used to think xray is bad. Talked to a radiologist about the damage because Alaric need to take xray when he was about 4 months.
Actually xray is like sunlight, too much no good. Use with moderation is ok!
Better go check and playing the guessing game. That is my mentality! Hate the guessing game- dont know he ok or not, is he feeling xin ku.... etc.
thanks for all of your advices....will take him to see pediatrician next week...really need to clear the doubt... otherwise i just keep cutting down the amount of his food will only make me worry more about his weight drop...
could it be that your baby is allergic or intolerant of certain foods? you may want to keep a food diary to see if any foods are giving your baby prob.
my dear daughter has gastric reflux as well.
the prob is that not all pds are familiar with gastric reflux, so some will insist that there's nothing wrong with your baby.
there's a thread for gastric reflux in the special needs forum.
you may want to bring him to this pediatrician at NUH who's also a gastro-intestinal specialist- Dr Marion Aw.
