I've been finding Lentil as I wanna add it together with white rice to cook as porridge for Inez but I dont know which is the correct type..
Went to NTUC just now and saw orange and green Lentil, then went to mamashop, saw yellow lentil... Which is the correct type for feeding baby??
Blur... pls advise..
i bought the green one... the yellow one is the commonly called tau-suan...
I buy the yellow one and mix it with rice and add veggies(peas+carrot) to it for porridge. My son loves it with a dash of butter.
I gave all to my boy. Variety & moderation is key
Anyway, it made his food very colourful and attractive
But can only be given after 8mths rite? Coz of gassy??
me too gave to my baby at 6 months..she loves it.you cld add a pinch of tumeric powder to it too.Tumeric has lots of good qualities n its even sold organic.
My boy started after 1yo cos I was afraid of food allergies.
I started with the lentils when he was around 6 months. Yes, do add turmeric to it. Around 1 yr I started adding little ginger too to avoid gas.
