Dear all mummies,
Just a survey on your take for the above two suggestions:
1) Home delivery service (aka "tingkat service") for freshly prepared baby food (eg. puree, porridge etc) for busy working mums?
i will prefer to prepare food for young babies on my own as i'm not sure of the handling methods n hygiene level in the big kitchens. if really not able to then otled food will b my next alternative as they r prepared in strict standard n clean environment. at least if anything goes wrong there is a batch no. to trace.
2) Baby Cafe that is located within a shopping mall (most likely near the baby sections) so that parents do not have to fuss about preparing and storing baby's food and bring out for long hours?
there's one in united sq called petite bowl. but the food selection is more ang moh style n not the usual chinese fare of threadfin porridge. price is steep too. it's not freshly prepared too, they too prepare them n freeze them up just pop them into the microwave when ordered. so i guess it makes no diff with bottles food
Was thinking of the above as I feel it can be quite troublesome when I wanna bring my baby girl out, yet must time well after her lunch but need to go home to cook her porridge for dinner after about 3 hours! Can't shop for longer time...
for me when son was younger i'll prepare soup stock in the magic cooker the night before and when it's morning i'll put the soup stock n rice grains into the slow cooker, by noon time when son takes his nap i'll steam the fish or meat and pop in the veg just before eating. forget to mention one portion w/o fish & veg will b kept in thermos for dinner. n when dinner time just prepare fish/meat n veg again. saves time and can shop longer outside!
Any issues or concerns that you may wanna surface based on the 2 ideas above?
