My wife used it on the 2nd day after my c-section for a month. At the first 2 weeks my wife folded the tops part because it was too high for her, 3 wks onward my wife use the whole and help to flatten her tummy. Cotton materials at the back and right side. It's cooler than the normal binder you find in the pharmacy. The cotton makes a lots of different in Singapore weather and especially during confinement when you are not allowed to take shower.
