Actually nowadays still got a lot of companies forbid staff to have MSN/Skype like my dear husband company, even though his company is a broadcast company (Ang Mo boss) but still they expect their staff to comunicate through e-mail or phone..
Lucky his IT people never banned all the messenger/chat site so currently he only can use Iloveim but cant download MSN/Skype..
Are you using a laptop?
The cheapest and easiest method is to purchase a mobile broadband and use it alternatively you could use a VPN service.
wonder if those anonymous web proxy can make access to those restricted sites in the office?
