| The Press Room - Editor | Some of you may have come across this, some perhaps not. It is a site that claims to allow you to find out who deleted/blocked you in your MSN Messenger. However, what it actually does is ask for your Username & Password to show you that list. After that, your MSN Messenger will be spamming all your friends. It actually stores your Username & Password to do their spamming. Should you be wondering why, especially you have used this website before, CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD! Some of my friends have used, tested and verified it, myself included. If you want to test out sites and programs, sign up for another MSN account and not use your main. At no point should you give away your Username & Password to any unknown sites. |

There is also another one where it sends a photo file. Once the other party 'accepts' the photo, it re-directs to the rest in the address book.... After that, there will be problem wif the MSN. Any idea how to stop this??? It's all over my office now.... ![]() | ||||||

| The Press Room - Editor | Re: Spam Alert: Http://www.blockdelete.com/ Yes, your messenger should not disconnect without actions taken and the spams sent to your list should stop totally. As for the other one, all I know is it is a self-registered virus which may possibly be residing in the directory. Some really "good" virus designers are able to produce such a malware that self-register in the directory. On exactly how to get rid of such a malware I am not sure, I am not an IT expert. |
