I have employed a maid agent and signed the contract with them at end of Nov told them I need a maid to take care my newborn urgently. After we paid all the fees at that day, they changed their attitude a lot, they used to call us every day to update us their available new maid but after the payment, their response became very slow. Initially, they promised the maid will come in 2 weeks time. Now already two weeks, they told us they need one more MONTH!!!
My baby has arrived and I need the maid ASAP, what should I do? Many thanks in advance!
Babie is my power
hi pineappletart mummy, ya i selected the maid first then paid them the fee. They are Comfort maid agent.
We now called them every day to push them but seems like they are not rush! No harm you emphasize your timeline to your maid agent.
Always hire the maid way behind your own schedule. There are always things to consider as this will turn your plan up side down.
1. maid's passport
2. peak season (esp when clash with their holiday)
3. maid application from their hometown
3. incase you need to send the new maid away and retrain a new one
My ex-maid contract expired in June and she didnt want to renew, so I took a new maid and sent her off 3mths in advance because my due was in July.
