Another real case of how bad MOM is. To protect our so call interest, we had to send a bad or unsuitable maid home, ie buy air ticket and forgo the pre-paid loan to agency, which could amount to $2k?
Is this the way MOM help agents milk the Employers?
Maid sent to agent, ended up in NUH & Employer had to foot $42k
When I sent my maid back to agent, I was told sign a transfer form. When I dated the form, agent told me to re-sign another as they dont't know when the maid will be employed by somebody else. I was reminded work permit can only be cancelled after maid has found a new employer.
This period of waiting is really stressful as I dont't know what trouble maid may get into while at agent's house. She claimed she was homesick, missed her sick son, my house is not the kind of job she wants, gave all sorts of reason in order to make me buy her a ticket home. I hope there's a training center to house all these maids. At least free employers from unnecessary stress, worries of maid being abused by the agents or get herself injured.
