yeah i also believe there r good maids out there.
it would be good that you have one w/o exp, then you can train her from the beginning.
it is of cos harder work, but your efforts will be paid off since you dont have to worry.
humans r all the same, no one is born to know how to do this n that right?
so if your maid doesnt know this n that, then we teach, afterall, we also learn it from other ppl.
ie, taking care of babies.
we learn from our parents, friends/relatives, books, internet, forums, seminars etc.
how about the maids?
if they r new maids, then shld we consider giving them books to read, let them use the internet n forum to research, attend parenting seminars? even if their agency train them, but still no hands on experience, just like all new mummies! (im sure we've seen many venting/complains/n SOS threads from the first time mummies here.)
n even IF they have hands on exp, like they took care of other babies before (eg trf maid), but we ALL know every baby is different. n every family has diff ways of bringin their kids up right?
maybe her previous employer taught her a diff way of taking care of children from yours?
to quote an eg of your topic, maybe her previous employer always deprive her of food? so she is scared of the same, thus she "steal" food to eat???
JMHO.hope it doesnt offend anyone.
