HiWhich part of hougang u r staying?
Previously i send my son to his KIddy ABC. The problem is the place i feel is abit space constrain. sometimes at night it use as KARAOKE for RC. If i am not wrong the teacher is Ms Irene. And it is only meant for Playgroup, after one year, you have to switch to another Nursery. But the main issue I withdrawl from there is My son don't like the place. Everyday crying for almost one month.Hi,
I sent my son to KiddyABC playgroup at Hougang, Blk 555 void deck .
My aim is for him to socialise. Kiddy ABC
The price is reasonable and they do a lot of handicrafts, learn about colours, shapes, A-Z.
Each class has 1 Auntie and 1 English teacher. Class size is not too big too, less than 10 kids.
I sent him there for 1 year and later enrolled him to Kinderland Serangoon.
The reason is the school repeats the material every year...So no point to put him through the same thing again.
Hi You can try Dayspring in Pungol. The price is reasonable. Its a Christian school. Many activities , its a bungalow by itself. So far i send my son there, he is very happy amd looking forward to go school everyday.Hi hi
Like to ask around for any good playgroup near hougang/sengkang to recommend? I would like to send my son to a playgroup when he turns 18 months.
Thanks
Ya, Same teacher, she quite good with the kids. The minus point is the school is sharing the RC facility.Previously i send my son to his KIddy ABC. ANother good thing about DaySpring is the school got Playgroup, Nursery, K1,K2.So don't need to crack head what is the next until Primary School. The school work like a Primary School. Imagine they have 4oo over students per day. Before i enrol my son there,I had search the many forum and review about this school, all the feedback is very positive.Ya, Same teacher, she quite good with the kids. My son love that school. Maybe that is the only time he get to mix with friends of his age...
Anyway, my son is the type that can be "thrown" to any school. He just need 20-30mins to get used to his new school/environment. He loves school and will do anything to go to school..:err:
hi Blueimage, are you looking for a playgroup or a nursery (then leading on to K1, K2)? Cos I think they are different. While the latter is more mainstream (childcare or kindergarten) teaching more "mainstream" academic stuff, the former (i.e. playgroup) is more "complementary" to mainstream schools. So they serve different needs.Previously i send my son to his KIddy ABC. The problem is the place i feel is abit space constrain. sometimes at night it use as KARAOKE for RC. Dayspring Kindergarten
Hi, Dayspring is a School that provide Playgroup to Kindergarten. Basically is just a 2 to 3 hrs class. I do heard that they have Enrichment. They follow school holidays too. It is not a childcare school.Hi Blueimage,
can check with you whether Dayspring provides full day childcare service or is it just a few hours a day preschool activities?
hiz alfamum...able to provide the address of Play Dates..?? thanx..!!hi Blueimage, are you looking for a playgroup or a nursery (then leading on to K1, K2)? Cos I think they are different. The one I recommended above is the playgroup kind (Play Dates!). I have attended afew, and this one is different and true value for my money. The Play Leaders are great, and their contents great. You can read what the parents say, and see if it suits your needs.
What Parents Say Play Dates!
good luck.
