justmint,

i eat as norm...just that i avoid eating too much seafood...reason coz my body seems to be more sensitive than before...more allergies after i gave birth.

if u looking at more milk, then u can make the papaya fish soup or red dates longan drink (the one u drink during confinement)....u can use black dates instead of red dates if u want. but black dates abit sng...

err... nothing special... everything in moderation. The only real thing I changed in my eating habits during the first couple of months were the herbal soups my hubby cooked for me... tat's it.

I eat anything. But for fish, fish soup and milo oats I will try to take everyday. It really can boost the milk supply.

vic,
how old is your bb? heard that our diet dun really impact on our little ones..unless we eating alot of that particular thing...

even when i preggy, my gynae told me that it's ok to take orange while the old wives tale say eating orange will cause phlegm to our baby...

I eat everything, anything to.From raw salmon to cooked food.
Our breast milk varies with our diet, so its good to eat in varities as your baby will then be expose to different type of taste. And will be a less picky child next time.

Just eat as per normal. No need to avoid any food nor add anything special to your diet. HOWEVER, if you realise that baby has some discomfort after nursing, may wanna check what you've eaten the last 6 hours & see if baby is allergic.

Heard that peanuts in mummy's diet & honey for bb is a no-no during 1st year.

no peanuts? no honey? well, not for baby but definitely for me! LOL!

and i take no supplements either... unless I think I'm coming down with something, then I up my Vit C intake.

DS is down with diarrhoea, took him to see 2 PDs already.

First PD said i must have eaten dairy pdts, peanuts, or eggs to cause the tummy upset in DS. Second PD thought otherwise and advised me to avoid oily and spicy food for now.

DS is now active like before and eat & sleep well, but he's still getting 3-4 small loose stools per day unlike he previous 1 big poop every 3-5 days.

Any mummies care to share their experience or advise?

how loose is loose? diarrhoea-ish? or just like someone who's eaten too much fibre?

babies change their poop schedules occasionally. This could be what has happened with your baby. Frankly, if your baby is active and alert like you mentioned, I wouldn't be too worried. If he's sick, you'll surely know! :)

please update here ok? would like to know what happens.

When my 2nd dd was younger, her stool was very watery and yellowish since she on ttl breast milk. There was even a period when her stool was greenish due to too much foremilk. If im not wrong tbf baby's stool are very watery.

ds is poopin his old "muddy" stool again, no more stool with wet bottoms..
he recover after i brought him to see a chinese doctor, she's specialises in treatin women and small children..
she said de diarrhoea could be due to change in poop schedule or heatiness, i tink could be due to de latter.. cos his mouth was smelly before the diarrhoea..

i just ate but what i like. in my opinion, you can have anything u like as long as it's in moderation. :) and of course a balanced diet would be most ideal.

though i do indulge in ice-creams and chocolates a lot. :shyxxx:
