    slow milk flow

Thanks Cherry blossom!! :D Haha yeah I had no idea he would be big!! My other 2 were only 3.3kg. It was a bit different pushing him out as he had compound presentation - his hand was on his face while coming out. But it was all good, pushed him out in 3 minutes with no tearing! Thank God, it's...

    recommendation on nursing cover?

I think you'd have to try a couple to see what suits you best. If you can, borrow from friends to try them out :) I had the boning type and after a while found it annoying. Now I don't bother with covers but if I really have to then I just use a swaddle cloth.

    slow milk flow

It is really normal that babies fall asleep at the breast while feeding, especially in the early weeks. Not only is breastfeeding comforting for them but bm contains stuff in it that makes them fall asleep. And it is also normal that breastfed babies don't sleep for very long as bm is easily...

    slow milk flow

I'm due 23/11 but maybe earlier since my kids like to come out early haha. That's great you're flowing faster :) Babies know when they are full and if they are overfull they tend to spill or throw up a bit. Which can be quite frightening....my little girl used to be a very chucky baby throwing...

    slow milk flow

Congratulations to you!!! Yup my milk flow was slow too for both kids. I'm afraid I don't know any way of making it faster. I think it's just how our breasts are made, some mums can have milk squirting many feet away. For me mine just drips :( Your baby is still very young and it is good to...

I have yet to prepare baby clothes and hospital bag. Been so busy with the kids and my business I haven't had time to wind down yet...

    Any ways to increase breastmilk?

Hi pilgrim, Breastfeeding can naturally make you hungry as it does take up a lot of calories but don't forget you have fat stores left from pregnancy! So it isn't necessary to stuff yourself with food, and it doesn't make you produce more milk. Just eat healthy and whenever you are hungry, like...

    Any ways to increase breastmilk?

Once it reduces it can always be increased. Even those who have stopped breastfeeding can relactate :) Continue to pump or direct latch more often. More milk extracted = breasts produce more milk. Even every 40 minutes is fine. Rest well, stress less. Foods: oats, linseed/flax, brewers yeast...

No Morning Sickness During First Trimester

Every woman experiences it differently..best to just wait and see results of blood test or scans. Throughout all 3 of my pregnancies I didn't have morning sickness. Just a bit of nausea throughout the day but no vomiting.

    dilation check

Why would they need to check for dilation if you are not in labour? That's quite invasive! I would refuse a check in this instance. With both my babies I wasn't checked until I was in labour... it is uncomfortable!! Ohh..they stick their fingers up there...not painful, just very uncomfortable!
