    What stroller are you using?

She's almost 11kg now so I want to get one that's going to last her till she's 20kg or at least thereabouts. Went to kiddy palace just now and saw one from britax, going for $199. Wondering if it's a worthwhile investment. At least it feels more sturdy. =)

    What stroller are you using?

Hihi! My girl is now 14 months old but she's rather big and i highly suspect my combi stroller might not be able to take her weight. I wanna buy an upright stroller but dunno which to buy. So just wanna check what you guys have bought and whether you would recommend for me to get one too. Thanks!

    cannot take it!

Well, in the first week, my supply was only measured by teaspoon. One time, I managed to get one teaspoon after 1 hours of squeezing. But guess what? My husband spilt it. Funnily, I wasn't angry, although I can see he was gonna cry liao. I just told him, "Can't cry over spilt milk." Dunno where...

    Breast Pumps to recommend?

Not necessarily. With manual pump, you can control how much pressure and how fast or slow you want to pump. With some of the electric pumps, you can do that as well. I was using the Medela Pump In Style earlier and as it didn't have the speed option, I just set the pressure to the minimum. Then...

    Feel like giving up

Keep pumping. I've ever stayed at the pump for 1 hour just to get the amount I wanted. Must pump every 2 hours (counting from the time you finished pumping previously). Uddermummy's suggestion actually works. My cousin, who is breastfeeding her son one month older than my daughter, helped me...

    Feel like giving up

I'm pumping and giving my daughter EBM as my nipples were short and the staff at hospital that I gave birth in was not helpful in helping me with this problem. So far I would supplement with occasional FM (like about 2-3 times per week) as she sleeps longer on FM. Actually, I felt a little...

    stressed looking after newborn-help

Hey huiyin87! You really sound extremely stressed. I was also this way in the first month. In fact, there were times when I had to pray to get rid of thoughts to "get rid" of my baby. It will always come like why I cannot directly latch her, I'm useless, she is rejecting me, etc. One good...

    The road to breastfeeding

Hey instantoats! Your comments really hit the nail on its head! The thing is, our society has drifted so far away from breastfeeding that it no longer becomes natural to us. I remember thinking that all mothers will know how to breastfeed and would have done so especially in my grandmothers'...

My story: breastfeeding support at TMC after birth

Actually their service is not bad la... It's just my experience with them "helping" me to breastfeed was more depressing and distressing than helpful. :embarrassed: Maybe coz they din quite explain their actions and that I didn't know what to expect. I have more experience and knowledge now...

My story: breastfeeding support at TMC after birth

I also felt guilty coz at first, i gave her some FM too as I din have enough milk. Later, I realised that I was already trying my best so I shouldn't beat myself over it. Furthermore, my intention is to give her my best and if I'm too stressed out, it affects me and baby too. So, as long as you...

My story: breastfeeding support at TMC after birth

My story: breastfeeding support at TMC after birth

Actually i heard good comments abt TMC before i delivered there too. It wasn't until I was there that made me think otherwise, especially when it came to trying out breastfeeding. If not for the fact that the TMC management seems to be minimising my experience, I wouldn't post my experience...

My story: breastfeeding support at TMC after birth

Well, I have heard that babies can adjust after that but mothers must be a bit more hard hearted to give only breast and no bottle lor... Me, too heart pain for her and myself. But now I create more work for myself coz have to pump out regularly lor... My mum told me not to pump if I not free...
