Do not underestimate the importance of the let-down reflex during breastfeeding. It helps greatly in your milk flow and your baby's milk intake. It also helps during milk expression as without this reflex, it can take a much longer time to achieve the same quantity. Do relax and think of your precious baby during breastfeeding -- this is essential. I didn't realise the importance of it until I experienced the reflex sensation and the difference if I didn't have it. Many mothers I spoke to also agree. All the best!
