How old is your child? They may tug at their ear if they are teething too. Usually a pd is able to spot an ear infection. I suggest if there isn't any fever or discharge fr the ear etc, it could be just due to teething. Or u can seek a 2nd opinion from another pd?

Yes doc will give injection to numb the area before cutting and before stitching. I only felt abit of pain during cutting cos contraction pains are far worse. And for my case, my tear was quite bad and it was really painful for me during the stitching up. I kept closing my legs til my gynea...

Sorry correct me if I'm wrong but I thought it's pretty obvious to spot flat feet even from infant stage? Cos for base of my boy's feet, there's contours just like our adult ones. Last time I had a neighbour whose baby was born with flat feet and it was very obvious to see it cos the entire base...
