The reason why he has been waking up & asking to sleep with you is because the first time it happened, you let him. and second time, third time, etc etc
Children need to be reminded that there are certain ways some things need to be done. If your goal is to teach him to sleep independently -...
Might be SIDS.
Read somewhere that SIDS is most likely attributed to poor breathing circulation. This means the child was sleeping in a position that did not allow proper ventilation, and kept breathing and re-breathing their own carbon dioxide.
A little tricky to prove post-mortem, that's...
Yup, agree with jxmummy. Since you're a SATM it would make more sense to enroll your child in enrichment / activity classes. CC will be expensive (you will only qualify for half subsidy). Plus, you will be lonely whole day without your baby around! Trust me, am on leave now cos DS just started...
Hi mommies,
I've been absent from this forum for more than a year now (ever since went back to work), but am VERY IMPRESSED with the improvements on the site! I know it's probably very lambat already lah but kudos to the admins of mummysg.com! You put in A LOT of blood & sweat into this - it...
yes please, whichever is most organised / systematic / works best. But in order to be successful, mommies & daddies need to start contributing. & admins need to start putting together a system where feedback / user experience given is measurable, e.g. rating scale 1 - 10; measuring helpfulness...
i am sure many mommies would agree it would be immensedly helpful to have a consolidated listing of all infantcare/nursery/playgroup/chilcare/preschool centres by location along with consumer feedback & experience.

snow bear, whether ur DD is lefthanded or not does not mean that she "got it" from ur mil. & if she truly is lefthanded then this is something u will have to accept - that she has something "in common" with her grandmother.
i have learnt the hard way in the last few months that sometimes...
i think it's only natural for children to be emotionally attached to their caregivers, esp if their caregivers are loving & fun to be around with.
the best thing you can do is make the extra effort & go the additional mile to spend time with your chilldren.
baby's head circumference, baby's skeletal details, spine length, heart size & beat rate, leg length (from groin to thigh, then knee to feet), feet size, making sure all ten fingers "available", making sure all ten toes, sometimes the radiologist will try to wake baby up if he's sleeping just...
hi aurelia,
forgive me if i'm abt to sound harsh ... i'm not judging anyone & not judging you. here's my take on voluntary abortion.
it is not your choice. it was never your choice. all you have is power.
your child does not have a choice either. he/she is defenceless ... does not...
a few reasons. could be due to a lack of schedule, or could be becos she has developed a fear for her cot, or she could be dependent on being rocked or carried to sleep.
if ur bb does not have an organised schedule it's best to start putting her on one so that she naps @ same time everyday...
hi yeoyeo ... wot is the actual problem? u are concerned tt his stool is green in colour or u're concerned he has constipation? i think it's more the colour right?
my ds was switched to soy when he was abt 2mths becos he kept being constipated so pd suspects his milk may not be compatible...

hey preggie ... telling the baby's gender depends on a lot of factors, main ones being how cooperative ur bb is & how experienced the gynae is. sometimes ur bb can be shy (legs clamp shut) or positioned in such a way that things are subjective.
i got to know my bb gender @ ard 16 wks. gynae...
