Hi mummies! Pleased to share that my baby gal made her grand appearance on 12 June. Weighing 3.74kg. My gynae says she might end up being 4kg if delivered at full term. Gosh. So relieved to have given birth! To the rest of the mummies still waiting for EDD, jia you and hang in there! :-)
My admission is at 10:30am. No food and drink from 6:30am onwards. Probably just have a light breakfast ard 6am coz the effects of the drugs can be quite bad after op.. Yup, the countdown of 1 day is definitely a relief! Good luck to you! :)
Hello mummies! hope everyone is keeping well! I am so excited and counting down to 12 June. Congrats to those who have delivered and all the best for those who are still on the waiting game. :-)
I am scheduled for c-sec delivery on 12 june. Baby is too big, 3.23kg now at 37weeks. She might end up close to 4kgs at EDD, so gynae recommended c-sec next week. Might as well and save the waiting game. But 12 june seems to be a popular date! The op theatres are fully booked for mornings, so...
Hello mummies, keeping the thread alive... anyone pop already? especially those due in early part of June? This waiting game is really a torture. My baby is so low on the pelvis that it is really uncomfortable everyday. Counting down to next week's gynae visit to get the verdict on when can I...
I am just curious.. for mummies who are opting for c-sec.. are the dates given by your gynae or you chose them? Many people are telling me that should let nature take its course and when the baby wants to debut, she will come out on her own. But it is such a torturing period, can't sleep well...
Yup, that's why I feel that whichever birth method also has its pros and cons. An emergency C-sec is going to double the hospital bill.. 3 years back, I paid slightly over $10k.. recently, my friend who went through the same thing paid over $14k.. the prices have gone up so much that it may just...
An experienced gynae is very impt for c-sec. For my case, guess its emergency so everything happened so fast that I couldnt quite react to it. The procedure is very fast, including the stitching back. I could get out of bed the next day and walk slowly and can breastfeed immediately. To get up...
My gynae is TC Chang..First one can get quite scary.. My first got stuck at 9cm dilation and I had fever.. Ended up having to emergency c-sec. This time, although my gynae still keeping option open coz my gal looks set to be of the same birth weight, I am quite resolved to c-sec, save the time...
I went for my gynae check yesterday at 35 weeks. Baby weighs 2.63kgs.. set to reach a birth weight of 3.5-3.6kgs at EDD.. I guess it's going to be a challenge for VBAC, so I might as well just opt for C-sec at ard 38 weeks. Save the hassle..
Hi mummies, guess everyone is counting down to june! Anyone thinks that baby will
come early? My first is born exactly on EDD, I am hoping the one can be a little early at 38wks.. The final weeks are not joke at all.. The weight and anxiety can really dampen moods. At almost 35 wks now, I kept...
Is that considered small? I thought that average since there's another 6weeks more to go.. Also depend on your size, if you and husband are petite, baby can naturally be smaller.. my friend's deliver both her babies at 2.5kg full term and they did fine..too big also
hard to labour. My boy is...
Wow.. many of us have reached or reaching third semester already. Can't say time flies coz it has been quite a challenging few months. Hope to start counting down to EDD! Any mummies still feeling unwell? I am still having occasional nausea and now started experiencing indigestion in the night...
If you are of a bigger built, I think all the more your bump wouldn't show that early. As long as you are eating well and not facing any problems, you should be good. :)
I think there's no problem on which side you are sleeping on at this point. The key is you have quality sleep. As your bump...
Hi, it's completely normal.. especially if it's your first pregnancy.. some can't even see the bump till 5-6mths.. when I had my first, my bump only starting showing at 5mths..I am now with my no. 2 and already showing my baby bump in first trimester! It's different every pregnancy, so just...
Hi, anyone planning a babymoon? I am thinking of a short getaway but not quite decided where will be a "child-and-pregnancy-friendly" destination.. Anyone has any suggestions? :)
Wow... our babies seems abit big huh.. But i think it should be fine as long as healthy. :) I am having gastritis.. so uncomfortable when the bump gets bigger.
