hi mummies, i'm also keen to engage a confinement lady who is experienced in handling twins.. EDD Mar/Apr 2011. would be grateful for any contacts, thanx!!
hi, my 19mth-old dear son is facing a bit of a delay in his speech development, and i am quite concerned given i have not heard him mutter even "mama" or "papa" yet! It is particularly worrisome as he is not short of stimulation, almost perfectly understands what we say and has no hearing...
hihi, my ds first started teething at ard 6 mths too, with the 2 lower incisors first.. symptoms include irritability, drooling and feverish chewing of teethers...:nah:
he's almost 10 mths old now and he has abt 8 clearly visible teeth (so hv to clean and brush daily liao)..
unfortunately...
To supplement breast storage bags and bottles, i also got used glass milk bottles from TMC (where i delivered) and bought plastic caps from parentcraft (call for stock availability first) to cap them with.
For the glass bottles, u hv to get it from the nurseries at the various levels... just...
hi, ever since i started my 9 mth old ds on semi-solids when he was 7 mths old, he has been steadily showing a lack of interest in milk (both formula and breastmilk), to the extent of pushing away the bottle and kicking up a fuss whenever i tried to make him finish up his 6 oz bottle - which he...
hi everyone,
just to share, i introduced my ds to heinze's iron-enriched rice cereal when he turned 6 mths... an uncomplicated and safe choice to start with, imo..
having finished that w no ill effects, at 7 mths, I then switched him to nestle's "gold series" rice cereal with apple and...
my 3 mth old is also v unpredictable in his feeding, sometimes taking in 100ml at one go (after 2 - 3 hrs), some times he refuses after 50 - 70 ml and it is really heart-wrenching to see him feeding less and disposing my EBM ... :wong7:
what's more worrying is that even at 3 mths, his daily...
Hi,
I think my hubby got it for me off ebay for ard $300 - $400, i think seller said she has only used it for 3 months or so.
i did not send it for servicing as it seem to work OK, except I changed new funnels and membranes for hygiene reasons. thankfully, it's still working fine today...
dear minami,
i hv flat nipples too and "suffered" during the first few weeks trying to latch him on...sometimes i succeed, but most times, i had to express it out to bottle feed.
:wong19:
but don't kill urself over it - to me, what's more impt here is tt the baby is getting breastmilk into...
hihi, i don't particularly adopt any strict diet - just be moderate and not overdose, like on the caffeine, alcohol or sugars!
Interestingly though, when i cut down on the spicy stuff and chillies fr my diet, the acne-like reddish rash on my bb's forehead and cheeks disappeared .... could be...
Hi hi, I have used both the medela mini electric as well as medela Pump In Style (original).
If ur budget permits, i'd strongly recommend getting a dual pump like the PIS. it is quieter, powerful and thus, efficient. U can spend more quality time w the baby rather than trying hard not to doze...
for the dry pi sai, i'd use cotton wool (recommend the sterile type if your baby is < 3 mths old & still rather fragile), wet it with cooled boiled water, then twirl to shape it sharp at one end to "drill" into my ds' nostril. use a new one with the other nostril.. works for me so far though my...
my ds seems to reject my BM n cry for no reason on certain occasions... hv tried various mtds to soothe him, with varying degrees of success.
i wonder how strong a factor is the mummy's diet (through its effect on the breastmilk) on colic? anyone made a breakthrough by eliminating certain...
