I think it's good to see a gynae in addition to TCM. Call a gynae to say you want to do pre conception check up. This is to see if you have any physical difficulties, e.g. cyst or hormonal issue. You can bring your tests to TCM to optimise your body for baby. That's what I did. Hope it helps!

I have two secondhand pumps! One was free and the other at a big discount. I got them from friends who take care of their stuff and who didn't use the pumps very much so they were quite new when I got them. Older pumps may be less powerful.. But I bought my own pump parts since...

You can ask your hospital. When I took the maternity tour, I sampled their red date tea, which was part of my hospital meal as I chose confinement meal.
I have two friends who got pregnant after the test - one in the HSG cycle and another one the cycle right after! But do remember that getting pregnant is a lot about luck :)
Should see a doc already given your age. As raoow mentioned, do non-invasive tests first - her hormone levels and your sperm count. If everything ok, try HSG to check for blockage. I heard it could be painful but I have two friends who got pregnant the cycle with/right after HSG - apparently...
Just to share..
I use a carrier instead of stroller cos I take public transport and my stroller is huge and baby sometimes cannot stay there for long especially when we're not moving. When he was younger, I used a sling. Now, I use a front carrier. But if your baby is ok with it, a stroller is...
Yup, up to 32 weeks ok but I prepared a letter from my doc saying that I was fit to travel anyway. Up to 36 weeks definitely need letter. Beyond that, better get gynae to travel together haha!
Hi, just to share, remember to get up and walk about as Switzerland will be quite a long flight - not very comfortable. Otherwise, travelling in a normal pregnancy is nothing to worry about, just more uncomfortable the bigger you get. I flew 24 hours in my 32nd week last year!
Hey JuliaKT, I put my son in infant care and it was great! But be aware that kids tend to fall ill when they start going to centres. I think he was home 70% of the time for the first two months. I had to take leave or work from home cos it's hard for my mum-in-law to take care of him alone for...
It's a phase. Mine didn't like to be on his belly but when he was learning to flip, he kept flipping while asleep then he woke himself up! And suddenly, he stopped doing that - he can now sleep on his belly. He also falls off his bed less often now that he's not flipping so much - he sleeps on a...
I didn't want epidural at first. Then my back started hurting. That was my first time so I had no idea if contractions pain = back pain. But anyway, it was bad. When the nurse asked me if I wanted epidural, I didn't even hesitate! So much for telling everyone I was trying to go without...
