I'm going with the paed who saw my baby in the hospital. They will schedule one week and one month checkup for you. Other jabs can do at polyclinic as it's free.
Layla, never heard of the frozen diaper thing! Haha! Sounds wacky but I hope it works. Guess I've been quite blessed in the bf dept as I'm not having much trouble - but really am grateful to the LCs at Mt A for their help because the first two days were quite awful.
LH, so long as his pee and...
Hihi, just discharged today. Got the 4 bedder ward because not enough single and doubles available. It's really noisy in there... They only managed to shift me to a single deluxe room on my last night, which was so much better - got more rest. Oh well at least I managed to save some money. Heh...
Hello I've also delivered 12 march... Also emergency, bb wanted to choose her own birthday haha. Only problem is that MAH is so severely bed crunched tt I am in 4 bedder ward instead of single as requested. It's not too bad just that it's v noisy especially since I am nearest the door.. Every...
Thanks tpy.. I'll also be doing mine at MAH so I guess same procedure ba. Just to ask, when we schedule for 10am op, does that mean we go to hospital at 10am or must check in earlier like airport? Haha...
Eleanor, my gynae hasn't really told me anything yet, probably next appt which is my last...
Thanks for the reassurance Eleanor (: yep have been slowly resigning myself to a c sect and thinking of the positive aspects of it... Really hope that post-op recovery will not be too difficult and that everything else will go smoothly (: wishing the same for you!!
I heard that Dr Paul Tseng at TLC clinic in TMC also does ECV, but the success rate is really not very high; add the complications to that and I'm not so willing to change gynae just to attempt it. Guess I'm just going to have to resign myself to a c sect... Thanks ladies for all your advice and...
Layla, I have PCOS and it took us about a year and a half to conceive on fertility aids like Clomid and TCM. Very blessed to be able to conceive naturally eventually, without IUI or IVF. I'm not entirely sure what the doc really meant either but he just said that women who have a bit of trouble...
Layla, what's the reason for refusing enema? Is there a medical reason?
Baby is still breech and I'm rapidly giving up hope. Kinda resigned to a c sect now. She has until 17 march to turn, as there'll be a checkup the day before the op... Bleh. Kinda sad about it because I feel like I'll never...
My gynae doesn't seem too convinced that baby will turn, but the TCM doc says there is still time. Haha. The consultation plus moxibustion cost me $42, and thereafter your hubby can help you do it at home. The moxa sticks can be bought at any medical hall, just that those are usually quite...
Most private hospitals in Singapore are v good (TMC, Mt Alvernia, PEH, Mt Elizabeth etc). I would say pick a good gynae first and then deliver where he/she delivers. That's more impt to me. Also depends on convenience, pick a gynae clinic that is near where you stay, so that it's also more...
Congrats mummies who have popped and who are starting labor!! So exciting!
Eleanor, I'm doing moxibustion at Thomson TCM to try to turn my breech baby. Hopefully it works... Otherwise I'm resigned to a c sect already!
Eleanor I'm in the same boat. 36 weeks and still breech. Have booked c sect for 18 march unless miracle happens and bb turns in the next two weeks /:
My gynae is not keen to do natural breech because of possible complications... Plus my bb is footling breech, worst possible position for natural...
