Thanks for the encouragement here. My lil angel arrived yesterday just in time for F1 race! While I was worried abt her being overdue, I became so thankful she arrived two days before her EDD.
just to share:
Friday morning I felt alot of baby movements in my lower abdomen.
Friday noon I felt...
After the frequent movements in the morning, I felt tightness in my lower abdomen from lunch till now. The tightness seems to be like a cramp, or like the feeling which one has the urge to LS (pass motion). It lasts for 30s to a minute each time it happens..Bearable.
Also saw abit of light...
eviee: oh mine! I doubt I can squat. I tried before when doing housework, had a hard time getting up. :'(
but you may be right, my colleague also suggest me to do squating now so as to bring on the labour.
kittymummy: congrats to you! Have a good rest ya!
A mummy & drunkenchivas: Trying hard...
i have a few friends telling me it's normal for first-time-mum's baby to be a little overdue.
But the waiting time is dreadful.
Tried to walk for like 2 hours and my legs became tired max.
A mummy & bottlez: Thanks for the suggestions. :)

Waiting, waiting, waiting....
StellaC: Yep, gynae did mention the amniotic fluid seems alittle lesser (on my tummy top where the baby's legs are) based on ultrascan but didn't say what the effects are. From my read, lesser fluid will mean less oxygen for the baby.

I am pretty scared about it.
Went for another weekly gynae check up. Sigh, still no news on contractions and dilation. Baby is still not engaged. Gynae said my cervix was only opened by a tiny bit.
I am now in my 39 weeks, one more week to EDD, yet still no sign of entering labour.
Am alittle worried because ultra scan...
Sunbeams: I haven't delivered but am considering. Footprint looks cuter. I am also thinking about making the hair into a caligraphy brush.
But I am worried all these will be useless as she grows up.
kittymummy: good that your mum is at home with you, at least someone who is experienced. :)
Did gynae say anything about your vomit? Isn't it going to affect your diet during the last few weeks before delivery?
ZPF: Oh dear! That's so dangerous to doze off while carrying the baby!!
Yes, pls have a good talk with your husband. No joke about post-natal depression. I have a colleague who seems to be rather depressed when returning to work after her maternity leave. She keeps worrying about her baby at...
