6-8 wet diapers per day?

Wetting 6-8 diapers a per indicates baby is getting enough milk. Can someone tell me if this means 6-8 pees per day? One diapers can have more than one time of pee.

I would usually check the diaper my son is wearing after every feed. If it is heavy, I will change it. I don't think I know how many times he pee-ed into the diaper but as long as there are 6-8 heavy wet diapers and the pee doesn't look yellow, you can be pretty sure your child is getting enough.

NOw v diffcult to check how many times he pee cos wearing diapers ma... for me... 9am shower change new diaper.. but 12 or 1pm then diaper will b heavy so i'll change... then at 4-5pm his diaper will be heavy again... then shower at 7pm n change again... the next change will be before i go to bed... this is how i guage... so abt 3-4hrs will have heavy diaper... btw my bb jus turn 1 mth...
all i mention exclude bb poo.. so i actually change even more then tt...
