A smaller flange is needed if you have the following experience any of the following:
The Ameda Flexishield reduces the flange size from the standard 25mm to 21mm. It is fitted onto the standard Ameda flange. The silicone flexishield makes pumping extremely comfortable, similar to the patented Avent petal massage cushion.
Selling price & reason for sale:
I have a pair of Ameda Flexishields Aerola Stimulators selling at $38. Original retail price is $50.
Reason for selling is because I bought the wrong size.
Condition:
1 pc is still brand new sealed in plastic. The other pc has been used once only. It has since been sterilised and is as good as new.

- More than about 3-6 mm (1/8-1/4 inch) of areola is drawn into the pump’s nipple tunnel and you feel rubbing and discomfort
- Nipple bounces in and out of the nipple tunnel during pumping
- Difficulty maintaining and air seal during pumping
