Any experience of HDB repainting?

Hi, Mummies,

Do you have ever experienced the repainting of HDB exterior wall when the baby is just born?
I am going to deliver soon and the HDB flat I stayed is also going to be repainted. I am super sensitive to the smell and the new-born baby would also be.
May I ask how long normally the smell would disappear after the repainting? Is the smell strong when staying at home? Thank you!

i tot outside painting the smell will take few hours to clear off since is open to outside air.. and the sun is strong & windy..
