the size of baby tummy :

day 1 - can hold ard 10ml
day 3 - can hold ard 25ml
day 10 - can hold ard 45 - 60ml

this was adapt from thomson medical breastfeeding book

my boy took ard 30ml ard 1 week. because i pump and feed when he turn 1 week plus

so i u realise yr baby finish what u gave him, try to give him slightly more the next feed , if he finishes it you will know he needs more for further feeds. they will reject if they are full

My gal can take 95 ml when she's 6 days old! Told by tmc nurse when she went in for juandice... She can finish 100ml ebm now at 2 weeks old... She's a milk monster ><

Felicity, wow Tat's gd! How many hours per feed? Mine one week old drink 60ml every 3 to 4 hourly!
