Beef Caldereta

Boil the beef until tender
In a separate pan sauté garlic, onions
Add carrots, potatoes, garbanzo beans, beef and broth.
Simmer for 10 minutes.
Add the tomato sauce allow to simmer for another 10 minutes or until potatoes & carrots becomes tender.
Add liver spread & bread crumbs to thicken the sauce.
Add green chilli.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Add water if the mixture is too thick.
Serve hot

yes mae..but may i ask, wad r garbanzo beans? n liver spread?? n can replace the beef with chicken instead? cos my parents don take beef...:) thanks.

Yes ting you can replace it with chicken without the liver spread & bread crumbs. Just have to let the tomato sauce thicken. Then you can replace the garbanzo beans to green peas.

The recipe then will be called Chicken Afritada in Philippines.

Look easy and not spicy... My sonz can eat it too..

Wil try to cook it 2mr nite or weekend....

mummysweety, if you are going to cook the beef one...yummier if it's spicy. but when i cooked it...i made it a just a little spicy coz my dear alexx can't eat if will be very spicy.

but but but.. i dun take onion n garlic.. can dun put in???
jessie you cannot taste the garlic & the onion when all are mixed already. you will not know it's there.

need garlic & onion to saute it with the beef...else it will not taste good.

Easy and same oso..

Oil, Onion, Garlic - Heat up
Black soy sauce, salt, abit sugar - Mix well
Beef till it tender..... and ready to eat
