Just something to share: My son was diagnosed with ASD last year. We had no prior family history(from both sides) with children or any1 with this disorder. Relatives who do not understand looked at him in a ver different way. Could not follow all the instructions in the Childcare Centre that he attend. I was really upset and did not know how to cope at time. He throw tantrums also. Doctor refer him for therapy sessions and he was eventually referred to EIPIC at THK this February. Condition did not improve drastically. Until 3 months back, my SIL's friend recommended me to try out on Essential oil, and after 3 months , we (myself, SIL, BIL, and even my mum who is taking care of him) feels that his communication skills improve a lot. He is able to sit still for a longer period of time. This makes me certain that his condition can further improve if i persist. Any1 who is interested to try, can PM me. I can get my SIL to share more as she had been using the product for a longer period of time. Just to clarify, I am not earning anything. Its purely sharing.

I am a trainer specialised in incorporating academic work with cognitive training. I have been in this line for more than 8 years and worked with many autistic children as young as 4 years old. Through cognitive training, these children are able to show better eye contact, less afraid of strangers and able to speak more appropriately when communicating. To learn more, do not hesitate to email me at brainmindsters@gmail.com or visit my facebook page for tips and information (look for 'Brain Mindsters').

Hi Wendy, I'm sorry to hear about your son. I used to babysit for my sister's daughter who have ASD and I know the task is very challenging, more so for the parents. I admire you for your endurance and patience and your love to care and understand your son. I'm glad that he is showing progress too. Just keep doing what you're doing, your sacrifices will be worth it.

Dear Mummies, we are students from National Junior College, currently working on a project targeting children with autism. We are working on this project with the aim to expose them to more activities in the natural environment as it had been scientifically proven that such exposure helps in their development.

Based on research overseas, it was found out that children with autism do not get such exposure often, and we would like to find out if that is the case as well, and the reason behind it if that is the case. Even if the reverse if true, we would like to know why as well, so that we can better work on our project, which explains why we have this survey for you. We had been trying to get as many responses as possible, but it is not easy to find parents that are willing to help us in our cause, we understand this might be a sensitive issue, but your input will be truly valuable to us!

The attached is our survey questionnaires, we will really appreciate it if you could help us with our project! If you have any queries regarding our project, please feel free to contact us at autisminnature@gmail.com. Please do email us your responses as well, your help is deeply appreciated!

We would like to know if you will be open to let your child take part in the activities that we currently have - gardening and excursion. If you are, please leave your preferred mode of contact in your reply and we'll contact you shortly!
