Got a dramatic child with a passion for theatre? Or a shy child just waiting to have their talent discovered? Buds Theatre company will be running weekly drama classes for children ages 3-15 here at The Playtent, commencing September 2015!
Buddies Programme (3 - 5 years)
A fun and interactive programme for the toddlers! Children learn to develop their oratory skills through structured storytelling, dress up and imaginative play!
Time: Wednesdays and Thursdays 10am - 11am
Seedlings Programme (6 - 8 years)
Based on the ever popular drama camps, these classes enable children to gain an awareness of themselves whilst exposing them to theatrical processes such as devising and improvisation. Each term culminates in a performance written and created entirely by the participants!
Time: Wednesdays 3.30 - 5pm
Superstars Programme (9 - 11 years)
The Superstars Programme is a weekly session for performers to improve their knowledge and dramatic skills in a fun and active environment. Each term will end with a presentation of theatre, open for parents to marvel at what their Superstars have achieved across the term! The session also focuses on developing these skills in order to successfully achieve graded drama examinations with the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art!
Time: Thursdays 5 - 6.30pm
Teens Club (12 - 15 years)
A drama club for teens with a passion for theatre! These interactive sessions encourage youths to lead and drive their own ideas to create young and relevant theatre. The term will culminate in a presentation of work created by the young actors to showcase their talent and improved drama skills!
Participation in LAMDA acting exams is also encouraged during the course of the programme.
