Ear, adenoid and tonsils surgery

Hi,

My 3.5 years old has been sick nearly every month since beginning of this year. He had an ear infection in late May, which still has not cleared to date. Since end may, he has had fever 3 times already. Btw, he is also allergic to dust mites. The ENT specialist that I bring him to suggested surgery to drain the fluid in his ear and insert a tube. And while he is at it, he will reduce the swelling of the adenoids and tonsils.
Has anyone's child done this surgery before? Can you please share?

Hi shir lin,

My daughter also has ear infection currently.and doctor suggested for surgery to suck the pus behind her eardrum.now she's on 2nd antibiotics as I'm still scared for her to go surgery.has your son go for surgery?which doctor you go?

Hi. My son went for surgery n he came out great! Doctor sucked out a lot of mucus. I see Dr YT pang at mount Elizabeth medical centre. He is really good
