i tried having a warm shower, walking bt nothing seems to help.. the only thing that helps is when i lie down. but when at work how to lie down?? :tsad:

Hi sweetoothz,

Usually the tightening won't last for too long. Just for awhile.. Hmm.. Maybe you want to play safe check with your gynae ??

I think must be the skin expanding n you never apply moisturizer, I dont have that prob though. Very used to applying moisturizer for years n still doing so.

I was very itchy on tummy - from skin expanding. I developed stretchmarks on my butt because I didn't moisturize it at all. And now at 34 weeks, I develop 1 stretchmark on tummy - lower tummy. So I advise you strongly to use lots of moisturizer.

Preggy mums have higher body temp n mosquitoes are attracted to heat. So I think it's true.

I would suggest consulting your gynae. Like you I had discomfort (feels tight) thru some point of the day. When I had it check out, gynae says could be contractions and found my cervix funneling (cervix alr short enuff).

I was given a shot, sulbutanmol and adalat to relax the uterus.
