i read the weekly updates by BabyCentre app, it says this week baby is putting on more fats haha, maybe thats why the sudden growth.
no much body changes leh, only tummy growing bigger and sharper, or is it because is a boy then sharp, my side view very obvious is preggy, front view still not, some ppl no give me seats in mrt

Hi... long time no log in.
Anyway baby is growing big now. Hes 1kg now. I had some pains last week n went to meet gynae. After describing my pain n discomfort i had, my gynae said prolly i had an early contraction. Could be due to my baby size quite big and im quite a small size. Lol!! But now im all gd. Doc checked my cervix all ok. Baby heart rate oso ok. I jus need to have more rest n walk less.

there is a baby fair on 23 aug at suntec. U can do some shopping there.

im seeing dr Marianne. im juz afraid baby fair too crowded. but will be sourcing n reading reviews on strollers , sterilizer n breast pump...

Babydf, glad u are fine now. Your contraction happens at how many wks?
My doc ts me that my placenta is abit low. Hopefully it moves up at later stage so that i can give birth naturally..
im having piles too... My tummy also getting bigger each day. But mine from front can see.

hi taurusmom.. it started at 25 weeks. Now im 26. Doc also checked my placenta is low but when she checked last week she said chances my placenta will move up. I do hope that mine goes up too coz i want a natural birth too. My tummy is bigger but from the front cant really tell. People says bcoz baby boy is like that... ;-)

Babydf , please rest more! My colleague wife also has contraction early And few times also and they also panicked, luckily all is well.

If contractions come but are not regular they are most likely Braxton Hicks which are perfectly normal and can happen at any stage during pregnancy

Taurus Mum. I haven't buy nursing bra, But I do have one I bought during my previous mc. I think still can wear. I think.

Anyway I think can buy later after 1mth confinement as breast size may change ? I'll Try to direct latch Baby during 1mth

Littlehamster, whats the difference between nursing and normal bra? Was thinking if i can wear normal bra.

Nursing bra is great if you are planning to bf. There is no underwire as the wire can cause blocked ducts. It offers easy access to breasts as the cup can unclip from the top and pull down to feed baby. I'm not sure if you can bf with normal bra, I've never tried.

btw mommies-to-be, what are the brand of bathing products, diapers and milk formula (in case no breast milk) you plan to give to your newborn?

i bought nursing bras from spring maternity. Very soft and comfy. Made of bamboo cotton
for formula i heard nestle nan HA is good. As for diapers i am going for mommypoko and huggies. I have collected diaper samples from
talks and fairs, will let baby try out. Hopefully no rashes. By the way hows everyone doing?
im doing my glucose test tomorrow

I'll be getting sebmed for bath items, already bought merries diapers and have some other brands samples also. Formula not sure, But need Get one for standby. I also bough from qoo10 Today some Baby wet wipes recommended by my friend, free delivery Hehe.

my glucose test was done are already at week 22. i feel my dr's test was done pretty early though.
dr say no more testes to do already until later swab test if delivery is natural.

time is drawing closer and we are already into our 3rd trimester. so many things to do to prepare for the arrival of lit one and confinement!

any suggestions on confinement herbs to buy or pre packed soups?

win won: i bought th pre pack herbs from PEM.. has daily soups and also 10 pack of herbal for bath. yes, time flies so fast! i hope we are all prepared for this moment! by the way, i didnt do any glucose test, my gynae did ask if have family history of diabetics though.. now gynae check up is 2weeks once, next appt 22sep
