hi SeptemberRay

welcome. Mine love to stand and disliked to crawl. But i tried letting her down on the floor and soon she loved it and was crawling about. I guess all babies are different as my friend's daughter is a day older than mine can actually take little steps.

i am letting my gal take her time in this rushed world :))

Hi dl28,
i agree with you to let them take their time. but my boy doesn't even want to lift his butt up at all, i try to put him on his tummy and lift his butt and body up, he will stay there for few seconds and then lie on his tummy again. not sure if i carry him too often that make him become lazy. i will try to put him on the floor more like what you do and see.
he doesn't like to play alone as well which take out most of my time. but one thing for sure, he like to shout and make a lot of sound, even sometimes when i busy with my work he will like call me heh heh.. heh.. until i turn and look at him then he stop and smiling :)

my gal does that too. and also i realized i carry her too long so nowadays she sits on her chair on playtime on a hard mattress or on the sofa with me. i try to minimize the carrying. Mine make so much of noise till we pick her up..sigh!! sometimes i let her cry and she will quieten down. but she knows to bully her dad..she has learnt a new trick..to throw out her pacifer and do the heh heh sound so that we will pick it up. this will go on and i don't bother after 3 times..
the things they do..simply amazing..

Re: Louis Vuitton Clothing

Hi mrs_eg & dl28,

My baby has fully recover today, the fever stop yesterday morning, thanks for your concern.
I brought him to KK emergency on that monday and doc said it's virus because his throat got ulcer and very red. But i think my boy is too heaty because i gave him durian on last saturday. this really teach me a lesson not to give him durian again.

As for the crawling, i will put him on his tummy and on the floor start from tomorrow. the video link that you gave can't seem to load but i found other link from youtube. thanks for the tips mrs_eg.

SeptemberRay, did you buy a toothbrush for your boy? My boy loves to grind his teeth too. I am thinking of buying toothbrush and start teaching him to brush his teeth.

[FONT=Arial, Helvetica][FONT=Arial, Helvetica]Hi Mummies,
Happy New Year to all!

I saw this new preschool called Giving Tre3 when I went to Thomson Plaza last week. I think their webpage is www.givingtre3.com. It was next to Thomson Plaza along the main road. Its a new preschool cum enrichment centre opening in Jan 2013. I decided to go drop by unannounced cos just nice my boy turning 3 next year and I want to put him in Nursery. The lady was very nice and friendly and showed me around the place.

I must say, I loved that place alot!! It was not very big with only 3 classrooms, 1 class being dedicated as a computer lab for their reading enrichment programme and 2 other classrooms. But it was very cosy! Like a home feeling. Their boss is also very sweet and she shared that she's been in the early childhood industry for more than 12 years. I don't really like those big organisations cos most of them just care about the business and making money but I could feel her passion for children even through talking to her.

They also have an outdoor area, although not very big with water and sand play. It was really nicely done up!

They also had reading enrichment and Pri Sch Preparatory programmes. Their reading enrichment programme is from Australia and its partially an online lesson. I think the name is Reading Eggs. Seems very interesting cos I went to the reading eggs website just now and the lessons were very fun. My girl quite likes to play on the computer and I think this will attract her. Besides having the online lessons, the teachers will also conduct activities in the classroom. I think will be a good balance.

They also have this Pri Sch preparatory programme that teaches grammar, maths, comprehension and creative writing to prep kids for P1. Sounds quite good too cos besides English and Maths, they also have this social and emotional learning lessons, something like learning how to listen, problem solving skills, focusing and paying attention etc. Which I feel my girl will need help in....she's quite hyper and can't really focus on a task for long.

They having opening promo now. Got waiver off registration fees and discounts too. I've decided to sign my kids up cos they have sibling discounts too.
