Education Savings Plan

Hello Mommies,

I am Singapore PR. I am wondering what is the best way to save money, through some kind of savings plan, which yields good interest which can be used for my child's education at various times in the future.

Is there anything within CPF that can be used? Any government related savings programs to ensure that we can pay for all the high educational fees coming up?

Hello, just my 2 cents worth...

There are multiple ways to prepare for your child's education;

1) Saving policies with Insurance companies that provide some kind of cash benefit - https://www.income.com.sg/savings-and-investments/savings-plans-regular-premium/vivochild

2) Investments fund (Some can use CPF funds); https://www.income.com.sg/savings-and-investments/investment-linked-plans-regular-premium/vivalink

It depends on your budget, time-frame that you have etc.

Suggest you speak to a few financial advisors and see what they offer and see how they treat/respond to you then see what fits you best:)
