From solitary coffee shop stall to almost a dozen locations scattered across the island plus its own central kitchen in Bedok North, Face Ban Mian (非板麺, est. 2012) by Food Face Group Pte Ltd has within 9 short years accrued a presence not to be sniffed at. Which thus provokes an irrepressibly legitimate curiosity - that surrounding whether the fare sold are anywhere near as remarkable as its growth story.
Alas, three anorexic noodle bowls and one lilliputian lu rou fan later we found ourselves incapable of answering in the affirmative; then again perhaps you might feel less equivocal noshing someplace else (apart from the possibly franchised outlet at Toa Payoh Lorong 1 stumbled upon for this review, that is).
