These are my favourite bakeries which I always patronise:

bakerzin

Recently, I just discovered mama bakery at Sq 2.
The shop provide an al fresco type of ambience
where shoppers can sit down have a drink and bread for high tea.
Their signature chocolate bread and light cheese bread is yummy.

Any takers for cheese cakes. Bakerzin has the same ones.
If you like specials cakes - french style try the Paraon basement - Canele. Very nice cakes and chocolate stuff. Canele can be found at Robertson Walk too.

Mama Bakery at Novena Square 2 is yummy - their chocolate bowl, curry lobster bun, cranberry/raisin scones and tomato&herbs rolls are fantastic.

There's also a nice little French cafe at VivoCity called Fre(n)sh which serves nice sandwiches and desserts. Their set-meals (avail whole day) costs $15 which includes sandwich/salad, drinks and dessert. Everything is yummy there. Go try it!

yea..me like mama bakery too..chocolate bowl is their signature bread.
There was one time the Japanese lady boss gave away some of their chocolate bowl cos did not meet her standard.

I love Lana as well as Jane's Cake Station at Jalan Kayu..very yummy chocolate cake....for muffin i like one at Shunfu market, but the service is quite lousy....
