Fluff Stack pancakes@ Suntec review

Brandishing a genteel half pink, half white disposition, Fluff Stack surreptitiously waded into the unabating pancake craze sometime last year to expound its own interpretation of all things jiggly and fluffy. Sited at Suntec City Mall's west wing (basement level), this petite 40-seater eatery purportedly uses only eggs of a certain weight, silky Japanese flour alongside stringently devised butter to whip up airy flapjacks each amounting to 50 grams or less. Over half a dozen flavour variations are sold - these include strawberry cheese, matcha azuki, tiramisu and hazelnut chocolate.

Fluff Stack opens daily from 11am to 10pm.

What knocked our socks off:

The All Time Classic was simple yet enticing: vertiginous, wobbly soufflé tower with chantilly cream wooshed over (plus dollop of honey butter, elfish pitcher of maple syrup served on the side) had our inner gluttonous bastards very much lost in one blissfully weightless reverie.
