Fruit juice during weaning

I read that fruit juices have to be diluted. Does anyone know the reason behind this? What ratio of dilution is good? Until what age do I have to dilute fruit juices for my son?

my son just turned 5 months. i made orange juice and diluted it 1-to-1. I fed him about 4 teaspoons (he didn't swollow a lot, so i guess it's less than that). later on, he had very watery stools. is this common?

Thanks in advance!

Citrus fruits (oranges, lemons, limes) are encouraged only after 18 months old.
Orange is also potentially allergenic.
My boy is 26 months old with some food allergy, so I've yet to introduce oranges.

Fruit juice is high in sugar content, without the fibre. Better to offer the fruit, pureed. The sugar gets absorbed into the blood slowly, not in a rush.
If offering juice, dilute about 1:1. Only a bit daily. More nutritious to drink milk and eat proper semi-solids.
