why ur baby got this?? eerrr... simple fact is u did not clean it thoroughly, the dirt/tears/dust got trap n causes an infection.
how? Well, did the doc prescribe medication or eye lotion/drops? If yes then apply it n clean the eye with cotton balls soak with warm water few times a day.

i just went to see an eye specialist today for a similar condition.
my son has it since 1 month old. on his 3 month check up at the polyclinic, the doc referred him to an eye specialist in KK.
the eye specialist say that he has a blocked tear duct which is common and taught me how to massage to remove the blockage. and then she took some samples of his discharge for a bacteria test to check whether it's an infection. but she say it is highly unlikely but just to be safe. she prescribed some eye drops.
all these cost less then $50 and i used the cda account. so quite cheap!

Lol Ic yes do use with warm water today when down to a&e doc refer letter to operate because her swollen part is quite big but end up no cuz she too young .. Reason I oso dunno firstly is jus like rubbing eye mark den I let my auntie tc when I take bk it look like gold fish eyelid le hai sad !! Still waiting for it to burst

my just 1 mth old bb has eyelid got red bump. it been a week , tot dat it will go away but end up got bigger... Juz see doc given cream to apply n antibiotic, the doc said wait for the bump to burst n if it get bigger it might affect the brain. haizz.. i tot is juz a bump didnt tot it will be so serious. still need to go back for review. I stress till i forget to ask the doc wat is dat bump...
