How do you package for Etsy?

What kind of packaging do you use when selling on Etsy?

I'm talking the layer above your basic wrap (cigar band, shrink wrap, etc).

I'm thinking the local newspaper stuffed in a USPS priority box with the soap just isn't good enough, lol.

What do you do?

Thanks!!

Hi! Your problem is very close to me, and I'm sure not only for me but for everyone who deals with sales on Etsy. I started a year ago dealing with sales on this site, and from the beginning, I packed the packages in a single craft package, but I received a series of complaints from buyers as if the products were damaged. Then a friend advised me to buy a packing machine to avoid any complaints. I found mine on https://www.kitmondo.com/cat/used-process-and-packaging-equipment/

I usually use plastic bags or cardboard containers. It all depends on what kind of goods I need to send. I was comparing my Etsy experience with Amazon and found that Etsy has simpler packaging rules. When I was selling golf towels like https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07K1RCTND?th=1 on Amazon, the marketplace was very strict about packaging, and the basic rule was only to use recycled plastic or bio bags (cardboard). Etsy, however, has no such restrictions, so it's a little easier for me.
