How to cook rice which is just right??

Hi all,

I can't seem to cook rice right. It tends to be too wet or too dry. Any tips???

The usual type of rice cooker leh. I heard of some "palm" method and "finger" method. What's that??

finger method is after u put the rice lay them flat and pour water, the water level shd be same as where your first finger fold is...the line abt 2-3cm from finger tip when u lay ur finger tip on topmost level of rice top. (wah, can understand anot....i oso dunno how to explain hahahahha)

if using the electric rice cooker, they have markings on the rice cooker ma....juz follow lor...fill water up to the line where it shows 2 cups. But if u prefer dryer rice fill up till 1.8 only, dun reach 2.

palm method is u put your whole palm on the topmost level of the rice, it should immerse nicely like a "drowned island".
