How to get rid of rice weevils?

Elo mummies,

What do you put in your uncooked rice bags or rice storage container to get rid and deter rice weevils from multiplying?

There's a sudden population boom of rice weevils in my kitchen cabinet & they are attacking all my rice, cereal boxes, tin of oats, dry pasta, instant mash potato packets, etc!!!

Heard someone recommend putting pandan leaves, fresh chillies, etc? Any comments?

I think can put garlic.. Normally I put a clove of garlic with the rice & I don't see any rice weevils even I seldom cook.

I only prepare dried goods for son and myself, so after every packet is opened, I put in airtight container and put in fridge.
Includes oats, rice, pastas, etc.
