Hi.seem like my menses will be coming soon. having symp like pimples and cramp since today. look like its come eariler than expect.Haizzzz :embarrassed: Mayb will try my 2nd round in IUI in may..:001_302:

Hi, I tried ICSI before, but that's at kkh, wasted a lot of $ there. The doc never do further check up to find out do I have problem and just recommended ICSI, after I transfer to SGH, then the doc found out my problem, if not I may still wasting time and $ at kkh.

My first ivf cost about 9k plus and 10k plus for the second time. I tried eu ren seng before, I think tcm really help a lot in people ttc, cause I experienced it before. But now in SGH have a tcm call Bao zhong tang, the doc there quite pro, this tcm link with Shang hai tcm hospital, is one of the top hospital there. SGH got do some research with the phycisian in Bao zhong tang in certain area. They even have service to brew the Medicine and send to your house, but slightly more expensive. my tcm doc said once start treatment not suppose to stop in between, it's better to continue for a few months, thus can see better result.

Haizz. My menses come today. Expected.Really cant even tahan to nxt wk till i see my doc.:embarrassed:

But i had call KK, Book another appointment for IUI. Nurse say need to rest for 1 mth. So they can only do on the May.

So i will rest and tiao my body this month. Till then. Wish all of you luck.:001_302:

Me too... after the failed IUI in Mar, tot I will try naturally for a while....

Think mayb too stressed le....

Told my gynea I will go back to him in 3 mths time. Meanwhile, will go c chinese sinseh to c can help build up my body or not... :Dancing_tongue:

Hi SmokeyEyes, dont despair, I have read somewhere that husband's condition like teratozoospermia has possibility of positive results for the wife by going through IVF/ICSI since they will choose the best sperm morphology to inject into the egg.

I will be going for my first appointment to meet my IVF gynae on Friday...very excited for the future outcome. Did a dye test a.k.a. Hysterosalpingogram just last week to flush out my fallopian tube, now very hopeful for this journey of mine.:biggrin:

Hi all, wonder if anyone could advice me... I'm trying for my baby for almost 1.5yrs now and still no good news yet. Worst thing is we've went for all fertility test and report came back as perfectly fine! Sometimes I just wished that doc give us some negative feedbck on our report so that at least we know there's an underlying condition, but now all we can do is hope for miracle to happen or to take doc advice of gg thru IUI if we still dont't strike by end of the yr. Apparently after reading the post here, it seems like IUI has very min success rates! Would you all advice if I go straight for IVF instead of IUI? And those who have went thru IUI, isit paInful?
I'm quite scare of pain after gv thru HSG, the thought of it just send chill dwn my spine...

Hi ,when it'll happen. Welcome to the club.
To what i can say IUI might nt as painful as IVF. Although i nt yet try IVF.
And the step are quit easy and stright forward. U might see all pervious post for a better understanding.:001_302:
As for the success rate might nt as high as IVF. But still i going for 2nd round of IUI.
For the price are cheaper and nt as painful as Ivf.:shyxxx:

Oh dear!!

My gynae has resigned frm SGH liao.. He's a good gynae n my hubby is comfortable with him n he is also specialize in IVF.. Now Im appointed to c Dr Juliana Abu Wong. Dunno if she's good:embarrassed:

Maybe u want to try my doc, dr yung su ling from SGH, if I'm not wrong, she's one of the leader in team, and newspaper interview her before.

Thx for the recommendation Shashan but they've alrdy assigned me to Dr Juliana Abu Wong but my hubby wud prefer a male IVF specialist cz his more comfortable to get treatments frm a male doc but i dun c any male CARE specialist alrdy besides Dr Roland Chieng who works closely wit Dr Yu SU Ling =(

Hi Ladies,
Any progress.

Juz see my doc last thur, we wanted to try 2nd round of IUI. She tell me shuld rest for another 1 mth.So we cant do on May but June.
And my menses came yesterday.
But feel that i dont want to rest another mth.so i juz get my medi for 2nd IUI injection today.

Juz hope this time round.something happen.:wong29:

My dear husband also have teratozoospermia condition. We went throught 1st round of SO-IUI at Kandang Kerbau Hospital unsuccessfully in Feb. Suppose to go for 2nd round in Apr but after much discussion on the success rate, we decide to opt for IVF/ICSI. I will begin when Aug menses starts.

You mean.. you manage to get meds for 2nd IUI without prescriptions? Is it allowed? I did my 1st so-iui in Feb @ Kandang Kerbau Hospital and the nurse told if menses comes, we will need to rest for that cycle and try again following cycle. This is to ensure all the meds is flush out of our body first.

SmokeyEyes, my Dh also have teratozoospermia. We went through many fertility checks & treatments (e.g: HSG, clomid, laparoscopy, So-IUI, TCM). Married for 6yrs and this year is our big 30, we decide to embark IVF journey. We will start IVF/ICSI when Aug menses comes at KKHIVF

mawardah, it is weird for the doc to suggest HSG when you already opt for IVF. This is because HSG is to check for block fallopain tubes. I done HSG before starting on clomid treatment. Please ensure safe sex after this procedure as the dye will hurt the foetus if pregnant.

Well,No of coz. i got the prescription lar.But didnt wait for another cycle of menses to clear the medi.
Shuld be already clear ba.
