As above since there's a thread on latest TMC bill maybe i shall start a thread for latest Mt. Alvernia Bill as i be giving birth in Mt. A this end May so would like to find out what's the rate now, no matter is 2/4 bedded, with/wo Epidural, Natural or C-Section..

Kindly indicate deposit amount for 2/4 bedded, total bill before and after deduction any refund amount..

this is only a guideline... I delivered in Mt Alvernia as well... but before that I asked the clinic assistance in details abt the hospital charges / doc fees and any possible hidden charges..you can get more detail and accurate infor frm yr gynae's clinic assistance? I'd be interested in knowing more about how much Mt.A bills come up to too! Anybody delivered there recently can give us a breakdown of costs and how much was deducted from medisave and how much cash have to come up etc? Thanks!

yup! wld like to see the breakdown of ur bill too. which ward did u stay in? i was warded there for a minor op before and stayed in 4-bedder, coz just 1 night. quite regret cos after my op, where i was put on GA and was gaining my consciousness n on drip, there was a patient at the next bed. she was waiting to deliver and was making a lot of noise with her relatives =(

quite scared to have a repeat episode when i deliver this time

actually 4 bedded ward is quite cramp if u haf quite a num of visitors ~ 2bedded is better but of coz the bill is aso "better"

Yup! I only paid $785.82 in Cash..

$2,485.82 (Total Bill) - $1,700.00 (Medisave) = $785.82 (Cash to be paid)

Huh? $1500 for Normal Delivery???

Think you better double confirm with them the $1500 is your gynae charges or hospital charges.. :err:

My gynae also Dr Hii from Hii Women's clinic @ yishun, I only 7 Weeks only, they don let know how much is their charges now.. You know how much he charge for delivery?

no, in the end i didn't go to Hii. What the receptionist quoted to me on the phone was $100/visit per consultation I think, and she said delivery charge for normal birth is $1500. In the end, I opted for Dr. Lawrence Ang @ Sun plaza TWC cos I stay at sembawang and his got package for the antenatal consultations which I feel will be more worthwhile. Just that I can't figure out how he calculate until just need to come out $300 cash for normal delivery.

U're seeing Dr. Hii now and they haven't told you their charges yet? Sure they must tell u ma, if not how u plan your expenses for giving birth and all. Is the GP good?
