Life Plans

My son told me his life plans yesterday.
At 17 he wants to go to junior college.
at 26 he wants to enter university,
at 28 he wants to graduate,
at 36 he wants to get married.
Almost teared.
He was diagnosed with autism at 2.5 yrs, he is now 8, and handicapped in his social and communication skills. He may have autism, but he is planning his life ahead, young as he is. Hope life turns out the way he has planned.

Yea, he told me this. His social skills is way below a kid for his age, and the way he communicates is considered lacking according to kk psychologist. They reccomended that he be sent for speech and social therapy. He used to do occupational therapy, but doc says that is not necessary anymore, they rather we train him up in his communication and understanding.Children with autism sees and interpretes things in a different way, i guess
