At least there is some progressHave been slowly trying to get her off diapers for a while every day after school, remove them for about 30 mins at a time. Had some success, some day dry, some day got accidents. But will slowly get there.![]()
Gosh, you are too soft on her . 8 years old already, confirm know how to use the toilet one. You need to stop letting her use pampers immediately. No more! Not even for school.Have been slowly trying to get her off diapers for a while every day after school, remove them for about 30 mins at a time. Had some success, some day dry, some day got accidents. I understand where you are coming from. But we have tried the strategy before, totally remove the diapers, but it fail very badly. So aggressive strategy will not work.Gosh, you are too soft on her . 8 years old already, confirm know how to use the toilet one. You need to stop letting her use pampers immediately. No more! If she have accidents at home, make her clean it up herself. If her friends laugh at her in school when she have pee/poop without pampers, don't help her! Let them laugh. She will become potty trained faster like this.
How bad can the failure be? Pee and poo everywhere? Make her clean it up!I understand where you are coming from. But we have tried the strategy before, totally remove the diapers, but it fail very badly. So aggressive strategy will not work.
I agree with this totally!!i certainly dont agree with letting her be humiliated in front of her friends or the aggressive strategy. it would kill her confidence and have a massive psychological affect on her
