My baby girl just gave birth 3 days. was actually suppose to be discharge today with mummy @ 12pm. but last minute when we prepare to discharge @ around 10am.
Nurse came in told us baby had jaundice level 9.5.
I was like what is level 9.5?
the nurse answer was : 9.5 ,some doctors don't allow discharge.
me : Different doctor have different standard to discharge?
nurse : Yes. Dr *** usually don't allow discharge for 9.5
meanwhile I overheard my neighbor bed baby also had jaundice(different doctor).
The doctor told my neighbor baby had jaundice 190. also need to stay in.
can any1 with knowledge shed some light?
