Hi, has anyone tried neurofeedback for your special needs kids? It's supposed to be very effective, even more than conventional therapies. Supposed to help increase concentration, focus, improve sensory disorders, basically all brain cognitive functions and even emotional tuning as well.

Am thinking of sending my 9yo ds with ADD/Aspergers for it, but would like any feedback from those who have BTDT. Thanks!

Hi,

I have suspected my son to be autism as he is very process oriented, he is not able to express himself on what he want, he do not look at me when I called him and he do not responsed at all when I called him. He can even cry at least 4 - 5 hours non-stop and I still have no clue what he needs. I came across this product during the roadshow and have purchased it to used on my son as the waiting list for me to see the specialist in child development centre was very long. By the time its my son's turn to see the specialist, other than my son is slightly not social-able, the specialist cannot see any specific issues on my son as I used this products daily before the appointment date due. He repsonsed to the specialist, there is eye contact, he did some communication but not much (previously he totally do not talk to stranger), etc. Now, he dun cry and able to communicate much better. You might want to check it out.

The one that I got was called neurofeedback, brainpower, accelerated learning and improve social skills. you can check out their website at Singapore Child & Baby Development Therapy - AcureBrainLab.com. if i remember correctly, they are using some brainwave music therapy.

hope this help. cheers

I am a trainer specialised in incorporating academic work with cognitive training. I have been in this line for more than 8 years and worked with many autistic children as young as 4 years old. Through cognitive training, these children are able to show better eye contact, less afraid of strangers and able to speak more appropriately when communicating.
