My DS is going 8 months old in a few days time .
Can I give him boiled potatos ?

i have been giving my boi steamed n pureed potatoes since he turned 5mths

choose those small baby potatoes...more tasty

i prefer steam...cos when u boil, all e nutrients go into e water liaoz...
i usualli cut e potato into small cubes ard 1cm then steam for 15-20 minutes

me will steam it.. or not will put in his porridge n cook then mash it for him.. as when outside i wil giv him mashed potato frm either KFc or 7-11 ..

can order from kfc whipped potato w/o gravy for 'em too

me will steam the potato and adding slight cooking liquid while mashing it, otherwise the texture will be too dry to taste. I added slight melted butter to it also.

The last time I was in sec school, my classmates who worked part time in KFC told us that that the sauce frm whipped potato was the result of those chicken oil residues.

Yup . Mostly outside food has seasoning which is not gd for them at this young age .

Recently I just gave DS Mos Burger's french fries . Not the fried part thou . I pinch a little by little . He seems to love it .
